#iTunesSounds: “Trappy New Years” – Fabolous & Trey Songz – Jan. 18, 2017

Neither Fabolous nor Trey Songz are strangers to the mixtape circuit. Collectively they have over a dozen album length mixtapes in their catalogs and have used those to elevate themselves to the A-List of their respective genres. Their “Trappy New Years” release was still a welcome surprise to kick off 2017.

The Breakdown

Fab and Trey teamed up for a quick 6-song tape covering some of the hottest songs from the fourth quarter in rap. It’s no surprise that Drake, Future and Migos are amongst the artists on here. As always, Fab brought his AGame with the verses. It helped publicity that Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants were seen in Miami with Trey Songz on the same water that Trey and Fab later shot the “Keys To The Streets” Remix on.
